What do you want to rent?

Where?

Michael Arrington at TechCrunch has the story of a big round of financing for Chegg, a rental business on iLetYou as well, for textbook rentals. Chegg is a fun startup story, started as a classifieds site at Iowa State in 2003, coming around to see the light of the power and value of rental. Chegg also has the intriguing concept of planting a tree for every book you rent.

Congratulations Chegg team!

Textbook rentals, like many rental products, has unique dynamics and demands of its customers. We’re excited to see what new, exciting features Chegg will bring its customers next. What’s great is that Chegg fills a distinct need, with the rising cost of college tuition and increasingly uncertain economy. Many wish this was around when they were going to school!

Share your thoughts about Chegg, and rate them on their store page. Happy studying!
