Note: As more and more people discover the benefits of rental, and iLetYou grows and sheds light on the tangible and intangible benefits, I’m searching for concise ways of explaining what we’re doing. Please let me know your thoughts in the comments!
In the down economy, renting makes more financial sense than ever.
From an ecological standpoint, you can make a real impact by changing your purchases into on-demand rentals. From car sharing to consumer subscription services, new and innovative rental businesses are helping you do this without skipping a beat.
Green businesses have embraced rental as a means to turn a product into a service for some time, reducing consumption levels. Studies tell us what we already know: we derive more enjoyment from our lives, experiences and the people around us, and that’s a better way to spend our hard-earned cash than surrounding ourselves with useless stuff.
iLetYou helps you discover the products you can rent, and the activities that have been enabled by rental businesses helping you discover your inner do-it-yourselfer, adventurer, fashionista, and much more.
It’s a lifestyle you can affordably and sustainably enjoy!
We’ve been incredibly hard at work at launching the iLetYou rental search engine and store platform for all products. It’s really been amazing what’ve already seen come up for rent, and what will continue to be unearthed for rent by iLetYou. Check it out for yourself. Please stay tuned in the coming months for rapid iteration and improvement of search results, and exciting announcements.
Your feedback is immensely important to us. Please send any feedback or questions you have to feedback@iletyou.com. Tell us what you want from iLetYou.
In the meantime, check out this video teaser about iLetYou. Enjoy!

iLetYou has officially launched!
I want to personally thank our great iLetYou team, beta users and testers, friends and family who helped us get this far.
On Sunday, I watched my first iLetYou movie from Video Room California. Right now, you can get a $2 discount on your deposit of $20 or more. Rent from thousands of titles for as little as $1.44! It’s a great way to see more movies with no commitment, more choices - everything that iLetYou stands for.
I hope to use the iLetYou blog to chronicle this journey. I’m looking to do more writing on the entrepreneurial process, new iLetYou developments and tips, movie and game features, and featuring the many great stores that are setting up shop on iLetYou.
Thanks again. We look forward to building iLetYou into the ultimate online rental community with you each and every day!
Till next time,
Rodger
